Ice Vols get set for four game home stand

January 30, 2009 – The Tennessee Hockey Club will get set for a four game home stand tonight as they welcome they Eastern Kentucky University Colonels at 10:15 PM.

Durrigan gets 73rd in 9-0 Thumping

January 24, 2009 – With a packed house at Southern Ice Arena in Franklin, TN, the Vols were able to shut-out cross state rival MTSU, as Tennessee defeated the Blue raiders 9-0 on their 2nd Annual Alumni Night.

Vols fall to fifth after fourth Rankings

January 23, 2009 – Despite defeating #3 Central Florida two out of three games this season, and outscoring them 16-11 in doing so the #5 Tennessee Ice Vols fell to fifth spot in the South Region, after the fourth rankings. 

Teixeira completes comeback as vols beat legends in shootout

January 18, 2009 – Charles Teixeira’s two third period goals completed the Vols’ comeback from a three goal deficit as the Tennessee Ice Vols upperclassmen defeated the Legends of Knoxville Hockey 5-4 in a shootout in front of nearly 800 fans Friday night at the Knoxville Coliseum.

Four lines chip-in as vols double up UCF

January 10, 2009 – Tennessee showed their depth on Saturday night as all four lines were able to chip-in for at least a goal as #4 Tennessee handed #3 Central Florida a 6-3 loss on Saturday night at the Knoxville Coliseum. 

McGinniss Returns but vols fall to UCF

January 9, 2009 – After a four semester hiatus, forward Mike McGinnis made his presence visible scoring on his first shift of the night, but the #4 Vols still came up short dropping a 5-4 decision to #3 Central Florida. 

Tennessee Gets set for Central Florida

January 8, 2009 – The #4 Tennessee Ice Vols resumed practice this week after a month long hiatus for Christmas Holidays and are looking forward to hosting #3 Central Florida for a pair of games.

January 7, 2009 – Tennessee Hockey is very excited to announce that they have been invited to play against the Legends of Knoxville Hockey on Saturday, January 17th, 2009 at the Knoxville Coliseum. 

Tennessee Adds two more home games!

January 6, 2009 – The Hockey Club at Tennessee is proud to announce that they will be hosting the University of Toledo Rockets for a pair of matinee games on Saturday, January 31st and Sunday, February 1st, 2009.
