Humanities Grant Advising

Project Services

The grant advisor will help you to identify appropriate funding sources for your research project, to orient your project toward the requirements and expectations of the proposed foundation or agency, to refine and articulate the aim and scope of your project, and to write a clear and persuasive funding proposal. In reviewing your proposal the grant advisor will respond critically, serving in the role of a non-specialist member of a fellowship review panel.

Suggested Funding Sources

The National Research Council recognizes fellowships from 20 funding agencies and foundations when ranking humanities departments, and we encourage faculty members to pay special attention to these agencies when considering funding sources:
