Idioms
(page down)

In every language there are expressions that simply are not said the same way in another language, particularly English. Of course the best thing is to memorize these expressions, but if you do know the literal translation, maybe it will help you remember these expressions.

The idioms that will be covered in this module are:
How to give one's name; how to express liking; telling time; idioms with the verb "to have" (tener).

1. To give one's name: Me llamo Ana.

2. How to express liking: Me gusta la vista.

3. Telling Time: Son las 5:00 de la tarde.

4. Idioms with the verb "to have" - tener: Tengo hambre.
