I am an instructor in the
Department of English at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville,
where I teach Composition, Literature and Women's Studies. In
the Fall Semesters, I also teach a First Year Studies course.

My area of specialization
is Postmodern British and American novels and Critical
Theory, and my teaching interests include Modern Literature
(particularly British and American), American Literature by Women,
Feminist Theory, and the Novel. Under the direction of Allen
Dunn, I completed my dissertation, Troubling
Gender: Transgression and Postmodern Fiction in 1996. |
