2. The Proposal
"CHIPS will be a success when the following goals are met"

  • All 100 computers are in place and in use
  • Effective mentoring program is established and users are satisfied
  • Employers are aware of the program, employment opportunities
  • Two employment opportunities per six months
  • County Walk lab is equipped and staffed
  • CHIPS participants have access to County Walk
  • Relationships established between CHIPS and vocational rehabilitiation programs
  • Assistive technologies applied aggressively
  • Vibrant on-line community is established
