Congratulations on your admission and welcome to the University of Tennessee! We are excited that you will be joining us for your academic career.

Starting a program at a new university can be exciting and overwhelming, especially if it is your first venture to the U.S. It takes time to adjust to a new culture, a new city, and to your new classes. The staff in the Office of International Student Services is here to help ease your transition not only to UT and the Knoxville community but also to address many of your immigration, cultural adjustment, academic, and personal questions.

We also conduct a comprehensive International Student Orientation that is mandatory for all new students. More information about orientation can be found on our Orientation page.
