Change of Address
U.S. Immigration law requires all F-1 students and F-2 dependents to notify the Center for International Education (CIE) of their U.S. address within 30 days after arrival in the U.S. AND within 10 days after any move to a different U.S. address.
This address change must be entered by CIE into the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). Failure to notify CIE of a change in address can result in the student being out-of-status.
