International Scholar Services
Scholar Services works with UT Knoxville departments and colleges to serve the many scholars from abroad who visit our campus in order to lecture, teach, or conduct research. We are responsible for UT's J-1 Exchange Visitor Program and for the processing of H-1B visas, so if you have questions or concerns, please call or stop by.
Our offices are located in the Center for International Education at 1620 Melrose Avenue in the Melrose Hall complex, near UT's Hodges Library and across the street from the International House. Office hours are from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Appointments: To meet with an advisor in International Scholar Services, we ask that you please make an appointment.
