Faculty and staff are a vital part of UTK's study abroad programs. As an advisor and mentor to students you have can help encourage students to study abroad. Numerous students have come into our offices to inquire about study abroad opportunites after a faculty member makes even a passing positive statement about the experience in class or in a conference.
In addition, the Programs Abroad is your first stop if you want to lead a study abroad experience with a class. The Programs Abroad Office provides assistance with the planning and implementation of such programs.
