Groups that register for the Fair will participate in a
variety of earth science related activities.
Groups of 20-25 students will travel together with a guide to
participate in 1/2-hour sessions, demonstrations and hands-on activities.
Breaks can be scheduled for groups that attend the full day. Activities will
take place at the Earth and Planetary Science and Physics and Astronomy Buildings
from 9:00 am – 3:20 and at the Frank H. McClung Museum from 1:00 pm until 3:20 pm.
Groups requiring accommodations because of a disability
can contact the Office of Disability Services at 191 Hoskins Library
(865-974-6087) to ensure they are properly registered for services.
Participation is free,
but space is limited, and groups will be registered on a "first come,
first served" basis.
We recommend that you register early so we can accommodate your group with
activities of most interest.
Please
limit your school group's size to no more than 50 students, and sign up by
Wednesday, September 22, 2004.
