I Saw it on U-Tube: Environment

What are the current environmental issues at home and in other parts of the world? We will take a global look at natural resources through the eyes of the peoples media, web-based video. We will speak with students and professionals from or in those countries to get a first-hand point of view of the same issues.

This seminar is tentatively scheduled to meet during Full Session on W from 10:10 am - 11:00 am.

About the professor

Jennifer Franklin
Jennifer Franklin teaches undergraduate courses in forest biology and prescribed fire use, and graduate courses in tree physiology and environmental issues. She does research into human impacts on, and restoration of forests, and is active in the Society for Ecological Restoration, Appalachian Regional Reforestation Initiative, and American Society for Mining and Reclamation.
