Earthquakes in Tennessee and around the World

Earthquake is one of the most devastating natural hazards, which has caused casualty and economic loss around the world, such as the Northridge earthquake in California, the Wenchuan earthquake in China, and the Kobe earthquake in Japan. Are we earthquake-safe in Tennessee? Would what happened centuries ago happen again? What should we do as a community to reduce the earthquake hazard?

This seminar is tentatively scheduled to meet during Full Session on T from 5:05 pm - 6:20 pm.

Note: Please check the official timetable for the most up-to-date information about meeting times and locations and availability.
