Campus Conversations: Reading and Writing "The Beacon"

The editorial page of the campus newspaper, "The Beacon," provides a wide range of political, cultural, philosophical, and personal opinions. Student columnists and editors write many well written and witty essays on hot topics from national politics to student dating rituals. In this class we will learn to read and discuss these articles responsibly and critically, and students will have the opportunity to join the campus conversations by writing letters to The Beacon.

This seminar is tentatively scheduled to meet during First Session on MW from 12:20 pm - 1:10 pm.

Note: Please check the official timetable for the most up-to-date information about meeting times and locations and availability.
