Hijacking of the U.S. News Media

Analysis and discussion of Historic and modern day crimes that have hijacked the American news media and held it hostage from Jack the Ripper and Lizzie Borden to OJ Simpson and Natalie Holloway. We will discuss the public's fascination with both Celebrity Killers and Celebrity Victims as highlighted on CNN, HLN (Headline News)& Tru Crime in minutia stretching on for months at a time endlessly recycling the mundane and salacious details. Is this News or Escapism?
