Sex Offenders & Sex Offenses

In this course, students learn basics about who are sex offenders, what are the myths surrounding who sexually offend and how these facts and myths can impact policies that are designed to stop sexual violence, such as Megan's Law. Finally students will watch the documentary "Stevie", which follows a man accused of child sexual abuse. They will then apply what they have learned in an analysis of the movie.

This seminar is tentatively scheduled to meet during First Session on TR from 11:10 am - 12:25 pm.

Note: Please check the official timetable for the most up-to-date information about meeting times and locations and availability.
