The Music of the Grateful Dead

In this course students will explore the music and poetry of the band the Grateful Dead. The bands 30-year long career will serve as a jumping off point for in-depth discussions about their music, and give students the rare opportunity to actively participate in the learning process. Additionally, using the open-source program Zotero students will learn basic research and citation techniques that will benefit them throughout their scholarly careers.

This seminar is tentatively scheduled to meet during Full Session on W from 1:25 pm - 2;15 pm.
