Living Green: Be Ecofriendly!
This semester long journey will lead you to a more environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle. Via discussions and field trips we will explore waste reduction and recycling, stream and lake protection, carbon footprints, alternative transportation, energy neutral homes, organic foods, vegetarianism, farmers' markets, local foods, and community gardening. This seminar is tentatively scheduled to meet during Second Session on T from 3:40 p.m. - 5:40 p.m..

About the professor
Joanne Logan
Joanne Logan supervises the undergraduate program in Environmental and Soil Sciences. She teaches classes in Waters and Civilizations, Climate, and Computer Mapping (GIS). She studies many environmental issues including global warming and water pollution. She is on a personal journey to live a more sustainable lifestyle, so come join her!
