President: MIKE
CARLWAY FAGEN
Mike is from Nashville,TN and
is a freshman here at UT. To put it bluntly, Mike is truly an "enlightened" angler.
He is, if you will, the "Buddha" of fly fishing. Mike is a
person who actually knows fishing while others only claim to. As president,
Mike provides an unending dedication to bringing excellence and prestige
to the club. He also spreads his genius of the sport to others by educating
beginners and welcoming those who are unfamiliar with fly fishing. Aside
from being a president, Mike is one of the nicest you'll meet. The guy
literally talks to you for five minutes and he treats you like he has
known you forever. Also, Mike has led one of the most interesting life's
ever known. He has traveled in Europe, to fish of course, hitchhiked
across the United States as part of a documentary crew, and was a professional
mountain biker before coming to the University of Tennessee. Now, Mike
is a sculpture major with hopes of taking his talents to a professional
level. Mike's other hobbies are hiking, mountain biking, sculpting, and
Eileigh. So, sorry ladies, he's taken. The following pictures are of
Mike. The top left one looks kind of like Mike is in a music video from
the 80's, actually Mike was the unknown member of Duran Duran and this
is a clip from the video for "Rio". Bottom left is a picture
of Mike's albino pythons holding a monster brown. The two on the right
are of Mike tying one on and casting on the Holston River.
