01/07/2008: Long time no update, eh? Fall semester was very good and saw the club rise in membership a bit with the arrival of several newbies. We hope that we can acquire even more fresh blood this semester. For those who have stumbled upon this site and are interested in our totally awesome club, we have an interest meeting coming up. Here are the details:

And then we have Josh Graves back as armorer and Jessica Allen as USACFC liason.
05/12/2007: Due to the website password expiring a while ago, we've been unable to update the site. But never fear, for the problem has been solved! And now we bring you much news...
UT Fencers have attended two tournaments in the past two months. The first was Vanderbilt's Dean Richard Memorial Open on April 7th. In the Div3 Mixed Epee, Mac Roberts placed 2nd, Cornelia Swiney 3rd (earning her E2007, as well), and Chris Cruzen 5th. Jonathan Cleary placed 3rd in Mixed Foil and renewed his D ranking.
We had four fencers at Sectionals (May 5-6) this year: Jessica Allen in U19 Women's Sabre and Senior Women's Sabre, Chris Cruzen in Senior Men's Epee, Jonathan Cleary in Senior Men's Foil, and Anna Gardberg in Senior Women's Epee and Women's Foil. Jessica placed 8th in both of her events (and check out her prizes... scary!).
What with the end of the school year, practice at UT has been cancelled. Current UT fencers are welcome to practice at Oak Ridge over the summer, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7-9.
Last but not least, we have elected new officers for the 2007 Fall Semester. The Presidency has been overtaken by Jonathan Cleary (godhelpusall), Chris Cruzen remains Vice President, Katie Steel is Secretary, and Dane Bell is Treasurer. Jessica Allen is our new USACFC liaison and Josh Graves is now armorer.
