Copper Reregistration Eligibility Decision

The Copper RED is out for comment.

The comment period ends October 10,2006, but I suggest that you review the new documents added to the Docket ASAP in case there are issues or changes that impact your particular use of the Coppers.  To comment you will still need to go to the http://www.regulations.gov/fdmspublic/component/main site.

To me the easiest thing to do is to go to:
http://cfpub.epa.gov/pesticides/comments.cfm  and harvest the Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OPP-2005-0479 then link to the regulations.gov site from there and insert the Docket ID in the search form and you will go into the docket.  Remember that this docket is huge and includes previous publications and all of your previous comments.  Just go to the last page where you will find the recent additions and there is where you want to make your comments.

Ron rendered the table below citing the changes the EPA made in our last version of the table (Appendix A in the RED itself).  My first review did not reveal anything else.  Please do not depend exclusively on this table. Review the additions to the docket; the more of us that review these the better chance we have of finding any problems.  Those of you whose cropping system is included on the table below need to look closely at the changes and let the Agency, Ron Landis and I know if you cannot live with them.

Any of you who have a critical use and particularly you organic growers and specialist should look closely at the suggested label changes.  Will any of this impact your use of the coppers?

If Ron Landis or I find anything else that is a concern I will let you know.  I will also remind you toward the end of the comment period.
