Writing Center Services for ESL Students
The Writing Center staff includes several tutors who specialize in teaching writing to students whose strongest language is not English. We recommend that ESL writers come in during the many walk-in and appointment times when these specialist tutors are available in order to receive the best possible assistance.
We work on an appointment basis only with the students in English 121. Students in this class should call or stop by the Writing Center to make appointments.
We maintain a list of people who edit theses and dissertations on a private, fee basis outside of the Writing Center. Come to the Writing Center or contact us at 974-2611 or at writingcenter@utk.edu for more information.
