- Knoxville Events -- A calendar of what events are planned for the city of Knoxville; this page also links to a list of interesting places to visit.
- Tennessee Theatre
- UT Events -- This page is supposed to list all events on campus but isn't (or hasn't been) kept up well; the best place to find this sort of information is the calendar available in the student ticket office.
- Arts and Sciences Public Events -- The Public Events calendar is a good place to find dates and times for concerts, films (Documentaries in the Library, e.g.), art exhibitions, lectures, and other events sponsored by departments/programs in the College of Arts and Sciences. And, even better, and happy news to a grad student budget, all events listed are FREE!
- Metro Pulse -- The Metro Pulse is a weekly newspaper/magazine that includes a section detailing the week's upcoming events at local bars, galleries, theatres, etc. Invaluable!
- Autumn on the Square -- (from their site) "The Fall concert series, Autumn on the Square, makes a special home in the heart of Downtown Knoxville. National and local artists will be taking the Market Square stage every Thursday night to perform for FREE! Autumn on the Square incorporates a local flavor with artists whose roots are in Knoxville but now have national recognition. Autumn on the Square's family-friendly environment is perfect for everyone to eat, drink, and be merry. Experience Fall Downtown like never before. From shopping to dining to free music - Autumn on the Square has it all. Enjoy your Thursday nights on the Square!"
- Sundown in the City -- (from their site) -- Knoxville's premier free outdoor concert series is back! Sundown in the City returns to Market Square in downtown Knoxville Thursday, April 13 with a concert by rock legends, Little Feat. Sundown in the City began with a single concert on Market Square in 1997 and has grown over the years to a weekly event that attracts thousands of people to Knoxville's center city. The series has been cited as one of the major catalysts in helping to spark Knoxville's growing downtown revitalization. Last year's concerts drew capacity crowds estimated at 8,000-10,000 people every Thursday evening. This year, Sundown in the City will once again run for 12 weeks, every Thursday night beginning at 6:00 p.m. from April 13th through June 29th.
