Rehabilitation Counseling Program
Community Advisory Board

The University of Tennessee Rehabilitation Counseling Program Community Advisory Board is a group of individuals committed to ensuring that the UT RC Program continues to train and graduate high quality rehabilitation professionals to better serve both rehabilitation consumers and employers. The Board is comprised of current students, rehabilitation professionals, and RC Program personnel with the common goal of promoting quality and growth in the RCE Program.

The Board was reactivated in 2003 to address the diversity of both the employers and the consumers the Program trains students to serve. Current members represent agencies such as the State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Goodwill Industries of Knoxville, Inc., Knoxville Disability Resources Center, Helen Ross McNabb Center, East Tennessee Technology Access Center, Midway Rehabilitation Center, Joni and Friends-Knoxville, the Knoxville Community Center for the Deaf, Department of Veterans Affairs, UT Office of Disability Services, and Sertoma Center. Inc. In addition, board members include private rehabilitation consultants and retired RCE instructors.
