Lee Ann R. Grubbs, Ph.D.
Research Assistant Professor
Dr. Lee Ann R. Grubbs received her Ph.D from the University of Tennessee and is a Research Assistant Professor in the Regional Rehabiitation Continuing Education Program (RRCEP.) Dr. Grubbs has professional experiences in the areas of adult mental health, family support, geriatrics, and disability. She teaches courses in Rehabilitation Counseling program in the areas of orientation, disability management, caseload management, job placement and development. Her research interests include geriatrics, caregiving, disability, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Lee Ann R. Grubbs is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
(CRC) and a Certified Family Educator (CFLE). She is currently
researching the importance of the primary caregiving role in working
with primary caregivers to individuals with age-related fragility
and individuals with disabilities. She enjoys playing softball,
weight training, traveling, meeting new people, and spending time
with her two Labrador retrievers.
