Applied Educational Psychology Program
The Applied Educational Psychology Program provides graduate study for students with varying interests in the areas of human learning and development. The program is now accepting applications to its 36-credit hour program designed to prepare students and professionals for various educational sectors via distance education. Faculty in the program hold national and international reputations. Katherine Greenberg is internationally known in the field of cognitive education for the Cognitive Enrichment Advantage Approach (CEA/COGNET), a collaborative learning intervention based on mediated learning theories and used in 7 countries. Steve McCallum is the author of the Universal Nonverbal Intelligence Test and is well known as a researcher in cognitive areas including self-efficacy. Faculty members in related areas such as Mary Zeigler in Adult Learning offer courses in our distance education program.
