Melinda Gibbons , Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Melinda Gibbons has joined the Counselor Education, School Counseling Program as an Assistant Professor this fall.  She was previously at Elon University in North Carolina.  Dr. Gibbons is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Counselor Education and will be teaching courses in school counseling internship and career theory and development.  Her research interests include prospective first-generation college students, school counselor training and supervision, and child/adolescent career development.
