Past APNT Trips:

southern ILLINOIS and ST. LOUIS, April 2-4, 2004, Friday to Sunday.
The inaugural APNT trip was attended by a large group of 24 people. This trip was all about birds and we found 98 species, including our main targets of Greater Prairie-Chicken and Eurasian Tree Sparrow.

southwest GEORGIA and FLORIDA Panhandle, September 10-13, 2004, Friday to Monday.
We sandwiched two days of nature study in Florida around travel days with stops in Georgia on this, another successful Avian Pursuits Nature Tour. Nine people joined me as we identified, photographed and studied birds, butterflies, wildflowers, dragonflies, frogs, toads, a snake, and more.
Click the link to find out more about the adventures we had on this trip - which luckily happened to be planned for a nice weekend between two hurricanes to hit the Florida panhandle.
