Welcome to the webpage of the Interactive and Networed Robotics Laboratory (INRoL), a research laboratory in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace & Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. We are located in 303 Dougherty Hall (tel: 865-974-8994).The main research focus of the INRoL is on the dynamics and control problems of multiple (or a single) robotic systems, which are interacting with environments/humans and connected with each other via a potentially unreliable communication medium. Some examples of such systems we are currently working on are:
- human interactive/cooperative robots- teleoperation over the Internet, haptics- multirobot teleoperation and cooperative manipulation- multiagent distributed coordination and sensor network
More details can be found under the research section on the left. Thanks for visiting us.
