EXERCISE 1 - GATHERING POPULATION DATA
Complete the following tables by transcribing information from
the appropriate volumes of the Vital Statistics of the U.S.
or U.S. Census of Population. In some cases more than one table
in a particular volume will be needed to complete the exercise
table. Use figures already listed in the exercise table as a guide
in selecting the appropriate table.

ALWAYS CITE THE VOLUME, NUMBER, TABLE TITLE, AND PAGES.
Note any adjustments made in calculations based on original figures.
