In addition to the University of Tennessee Graduate School and School
of Art admission requirements, the Graphic Design program requires the
following information:
1. Portfolio description
Portfolio should represent a body of graphic design work that reflect the
applicant’s ability, design experience and skill set. A detailed
list should accompany the work and include the following information:
- Project name
- Please state whether the piece is student work or professional work.
If the work is a professionally produced project, state your role in the
creation of the piece (i.e.-Creative Director, Designer, Production, etc
...)
- Short description of each the slide
- Date of creation
*NOTE: Work of a digital nature should be sent on CD-ROM as self-running
applications. Website URLS may be listed on a separate sheet of paper
along with the above criteria. DO NOT send original work.
2. Resume
Please outline all educational and professional experiences as well as honors,
awards, exhibitions and technical skills.
3. Interview
An on-campus interview is strongly advised, please set-up an appointment
prior to coming to campus.
