Letter From The President
Delta Gamma offers to women of all ages a rich heritage based on principles of personal integrity, personal responsibility and intellectual honesty. Our primary purpose is to foster high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility, and develop the finest qualities of character.
At the University of Tennessee, the Delta Gamma chapter strives to build lasting bonds of friendship within our chapter and throughout the community as well. In a chapter of over 160 women, there are many unique, exciting opportunities for everyone!
Some of the best opportunities involve participating in various philanthropic community activities. Our event, Anchor Splash®, is held annually on campus to fund the Delta Gamma Foundation, as well as a local camp for visually impaired children. It is one of the most recognized and attended sorority philanthropic events at the University of Tennessee. In addition to hosting this annual event, we give back to the campus and community by dedicating our time to serve and help those in need.
Delta Gamma is committed to helping members achieve academic excellence. We provide tutors, study groups, book exchanges, and utilize numerous resources on campus to ensure that our members have the tools needed to succeed. Our chapter boasts one of the highest GPAs in Panhellenic and our sisters are recognized annually for their academic achievements.
