  • Kurt Piehler, moderator; Director, Center for the Study of War and Society, Department of History, University of Tennessee; associate professor of history; author of Remembering War the American Way.

  • David E. Cane, co-editor of Fighting Fascism in Europe: The World War II Letters of an American Veteran of the Spanish Civil War, which contain his father's wartime correspondence.

  • Damon L. Gause Jr., son of the author of The War Journal of Major Damon "Rocky" Gause: The Firsthand Account of One of the Greatest Escapes of World War II, a POW's memoirs of his escape from the Bataan Death March.

  • Alexander Jefferson, Lt. Colonel, U.S. Air Force, (Ret); Tuskegee airman; author, with Lewis Carlson, Kriegie Chronicle: Memoirs of a World War II Tuskegee Airman and POW.

  • Thomas A. Kindre, veteran; founder and first chairman of the Rutgers Oral History Archives of WWII; author of Boys from New Jersey, concerning the impact of WWII on his college classmates.

  • Deborah A. Gershenowitz, editor for history and law, New York University Press.
