Townsend Boathouse

In conjunction with the Knoxville Rowing Association, Tennessee Crew is building a new boathouse on the Tennessee River at Scottish Pike Park.  This new structure, which is located across the river from Neyland Stadium, will house Tennessee Crew's equipment and training facilities, and represents a new chapter in Tennessee Crew's future.  It is an opportunity for the team to take its competition to the next level and expand the program.  To the right is a map of the location of Scottish Pike Park.

Currently, both the Knoxville Rowing Association and Tennesssee Crew row from the Island Home Boathouse, a temporary structure that will be in use until early summer.  For directions to Island Home boathouse, please click here.

Head of the Hooch Results

In the 2006 Head of the Hooch, the second largest Head Race in the United States, the Tennessee Crew Novice Men's A Boat placed first.  This gold was the perfect conclusion to a winning season and a perfect motivation for the spring season.

Augusta Invitational Results

After training hard over spring training in DeLand, FL, the Tennessee Crew Men's Varsity finished 1st at the Augusta Invitational.  This was an exciting event for Tennessee Crew - this is the first time in 10 years that Tennessee Crew has taken home a gold medal!
