In the news...A study performed
through the Center recently published in Medicine & Science
in Sports & Exercise has received national attention in such
publications as USA
Today ,the Washington
Post, Self magazine, Prevention magazine, and the LA Times.
Researchers for the Center found that sedentary women walked more
when told to accumulate 10,000 steps per day then when instructed
to take a brisk 30-minute walk on most, preferably all, days of
