Christine's Brownies
 
Melt over a double boiler:
150 g of baking chocolate (sweetened dark chocolate - I use Orion or Figaro chocolate na varenie, but have used Ghiradeli bittersweet chocolate chips too)
1/2 c butter

cream:
2 eggs
1 1/3 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp hazelnut extract (optional - almond also good)
1/4 tsp salt
Add chocolate solution and mix well

Add
1/3 c cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/2 c flour

put in a buttered 8" round or square pan
If desired swirl melted peanut butter on top, mixing it slightly with the batter.
bake for 35 min at 350 F
