Buttermilk Biscuits 10/10
2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp melted butter
2/3 c buttermilk, approximately
preheat oven to 475F
sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl
stir in the butter and buttermilk to make a soft dough. work on a floured board lightly until dough can be rolled. roll out to 1/2" thickness and cut into rounds
place rounds on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake 10-12 minutes
makes about two dozen biscuits

Notes: Yum. Um, yum. Be careful not to knead the dough too hard. I almost always use a lot more (total about 1 cup) buttermilk.
Also, don't cook in a black pan because they burn.
