About Clinic Vols

Clinic Vols is a student organization that works in partnership with the American Red Cross to volunteer in inner city elementary schools.  As volunteers, we provide first aid in the seven elementary school clinics and reach out to the community by assisting in flu mist vaccinations for several Knox County schools and educate children through various programs provided by the Red Cross.

Clinic Vols is an excellent organization not only for clinical experience for health care-interested students and others but also a very rewarding experience.  We provide the simplest of health care to children who are not fortunate enough to see a primary care physician.  We are trained only to give first aid to injuries and follow guidelines for calling parents for mild to serious illnesses.
