Dear New Student,

We are excited about your interest in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences and look forward to helping you reach your academic goals!

This page is designed to help you transition smoothly to your role as a UT student before you arrive at New Student Orientation. The academic advising and curriculum overview can be overwhelming, but our hope is that you will take time to look through this site and familiarize yourself with the advising and registration process.

Please look through the links to the left, particularly the Advising link and you will find important information. Below you will also find links to information that you will see again at New Student Orientation. Advising at New Student Orientation takes part in two phases: Phase 1 includes the Curriculum Overview and Phase 2, the Registration process. Get excited about New Student Orientation and the beginning of your first semester as a UT student.

REGISTRATION

Step 1: Sample Freshman Schedules

Step 2: Meet individually with an Academic Advisor

Step 3: Register for classes with Circle Park Online

Step 4: Exit Interview- Meet with your Academic Advisor to verify that you understand why you have registered for each and every course on your schedule.

Step 5: Checkout of Orientation in the University Center. At this time, you will receive an Orientation CD, turn in your meal card and fill out an Orientation survey.
