Shawna Hembree
Shawna has been with Career Services since 2006. She completed her B.A. in Psychology and her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling/College Student Personnel. She is the Career Consultant for the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Social Work and Education, Health & Human Science (public service emphasis), Pre-Law students and the Public Service Careers Program. She provides both undergraduate and graduate students with career development and job or graduate school preparation assistance. Shawna also works with employers who are seeking students in these disciplines and interest areas and assists them with their recruitment strategies. She co-coordinates the Volunteer & Service Corps Fair and the Public Service component of the Fall Job Fair. Shawna also has special interest in working with students with international career goals and those interested in “Alternative, Temporary and In-the-Meantime Jobs”.
