Upcoming 2008 Events
Monthly Meetings- August 21, September 20(Sat. 11AM)
Meetings will be held at the Beta Theta Pi Chapter House at 6PM. All alumni are welcome.
Alumni Work Day- August 9th 8:30AM -6PM, We encourage Alumni to come by and help get the house ready for Fall Rush. We will work with the Chapter to refresh the common areas of the house and redo the landscaping around the house and hang composites in the Chapter house. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided
Fall Rush- August 26th-28th Time to be determined.
We invite all alumni to come by the house during rush to help recruit new members.
UT Home Football Games- While on UT's campus for a football game come by the BETA house and meet the active chapter and see old friends. See UT Home Schedule below
Founders Day Weekend- October 24-25 the weekend will include a reception at the house on Friday night and a Tailgate party on Saturday before the game. More information will follow in the upcoming months.

The Fall 2007 semester is quickly approaching and we need to get the house ready for Fall Rush.
As you know Rush will play vital part in the future of the Delta Kappa Chapter.The Delta Kappa
Chapter needs our help to get the house ready for Fall 2007 Rush. The East Tennessee Alumni
Assocaition of Beta Theta Pi will host an Alumni Work Weekend on August 10-12, 2007.
We are looking to get the chpater house in the shape before school starts back. Some of the projects
that we have planned are Replacing the carpet in the Sitting Area, fixing up the women's
bathroom, general landscaping and general cleaning. Please let us know if you will be able to
help out that weekend or if you have stuff you would like to donate to the chapter house.

Beta Honors
> 04/03/07 Delta Kappa of Beta Theta Pi was awarded the Chapter of the Year award by the University of Tennessee's Inter Fraternity Council. Congratulations go out to all the brothers and alumni that have made this happen.
Beta Philanthropy
> 04/01/07 Congratulations to Zeta Tau Alpha for winning the second annual Beta Theta Pi 4-Square Tournament benefiting St. Judes. Last year we raised $6,300 and we hope to top that this year.

> 02/23/07 Apologies to everyone for all of these updates at once, but we have had a variety of password and server related problems. Everything should be working out now so enjoy.
