St. Kitts Field School

Dr. Schroedl will be offering a summer field school at Brimstone Hill Fortress, St. Kitts. The field school will run from July 7 through August 7, 2008 (Summer Semester, Second Session). More Information

Wingos Quarter Field School

Dr. Barbara Heath will be offering a field school in historical archaeology at an 18th-century slave quarter in Forest, Virginia, from June 2-July 3, 2008 (First Summer Session). More information.

UT Alum Dr. Donna Boyd Named Professor of the Year

UT Anthropology alumna Dr. Donna Boyd (BA 1981, MA 1984 and PhD 1988) was named one of four national U.S. Professors of the Year by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching on Friday, November 17, 2006. More Information

Mitrou Archaeological Project

The Mitrou Archaeological Project (MAP) is a cooperative venture between the University of Tennessee and the Greek Archaeological Service. MAP is co-directed by Professor Aleydis Van de Moortel of the Classics Department at the University of Tennessee, and by Eleni Zahou of the 14th Ephoreia of Classical and Prehistorical Antiquities (IDEPKA) at Lamia.
