The American Nuclear Society
The American Nuclear Society is an organization concerned with developing a better public understanding of and promoting the many uses of the nuclear industry. Our student section is assigned this very same task with an additional purpose of enhancing our education through the use of the great minds of yesterday and today. The University of Tennessee American Nuclear Society Student Section has the advantage of residing so close to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). This Laboratory has been the birthplace of many of the greatest scientific discoveries of our time.
