- Based on its proposal to the UT English Department this spring, CAAS has been awarded oversight of the Department's Speakers Series for the 2007-2008 academic year. Check "Speakers Series" on the left to see the schedule of speakers.
- CAAS also wrote a winning proposal to the UT Haines-Morris Research Fund this year and was awarded monies to bring a senior scholar to campus for a public lecture during academic year 2007-8.
- CAAS was listed on a proposal to the UT Department of Art in fall 2007 and was awarded money to bring three scholars working in the plastic arts (art history, painting, sculpture) to campus during academic year 2007-8.
