Q: Do I need SAT/ACT test scores for undergraduate admission?
A: SAT/ACT scores are not required of students who have been out of high school for three or more years.

Q: What documents are required for undergraduate admission?
A: You need: 1) high school and college-level transcripts 2)undergraduate application and the fee payment of $30. Click Here for a step-by step guide to the admission process.

Q: What about financial aid?
A: If you want to be considered for any need-based financial iad, you must complete and mail the FAFSA by March 1. Plan on sending in all of your information three to four weeks in advance. Click Here for more information on financial aid.

Q: How do I get an academic advisor?
A: More general information on academic advising at UT can be obtained from the Student Success Center's Website. The Adult Student Services Center also offers academic advising by appointment.

Q: How do I register for classes?
A: There are two registration periods for each term (priority registration and final registration). Registrar's website has the FAQ page that can accessed by clicking here.
If you have already been admitted, met with your advisor and chose courses, you can register for classes on Circle Park Online.

Q: How do I apply for the University housing?
A: Please go to the Department of University Housing Website and review the residence hall options. You can fill out your application on-line by clicking on either residence halls or apartments on-line application.

Q: Where can I get information on private housing in Knoxville?
A: The Housing office at UT offers leads on apartments in Knoxville. You can access their listing by clicking here.

Q: Where can I get help finding daycare in Knoxville?
A: Adult Student Services Center has a daycare resource list that may assist you in finding Daycare in Knoxville. You can access the Daycare Resource List or pick up a copy in our office.
