Rumpelstiltskin is a short fairy tale of German origin that was collected by the Brothers Grimm in their 1812 work, Children's and Household Tales." The purpose of this site is to provide readers with more information about this story, some interpretations of its meaning, and links to modern and alternate versions of it.
