Assessment, and Instruction in Mathematics (ACCLAIM)

Applying to the Graduate School (non-U of L students only)

1. Go to the U of L website, place the cursor on Future Students and open Admissions, Graduate.
2. Click on "On-Line Admission" and then "Create an Account"
3. Provide the necessary information; select a user name and password (don't forget these!!) a create the account
4.Go back to the Admissions, Graduate page and click on "Complete the Application." You will have to provide account information.
5. Complete information about yourself until you get to Page 5. On this page, under Degree Code, select NON. Under plans, indicate part-time. Under classification level, indicate Graduate-Non-Degree
6. Complete the application.
7. Notify Susan Simpson at susan@louisville.edu when you have done this
so she can clear you for the course.
8. You should not have to pay an application fee.

Enrolling in the U of L course this summer:

1. Wait a few days before enrolling in the course so that Susan can enter you into the U of L system.
2. Once you have applied to the Graduate School, then you will receive a student identification number.
3. To register on-line, go to the U of L website and click on "Current Students" and then "U-Link." Enter your user name and password. Follow registration procedures.
3. To register by telephone, call 502-852-2222 and follow instructions.
4. You will register for EDAP 780--Seminar in Teaching and Learning (3 hours). The 4-digit course code is 2827.

Paying for courses at U of L

1. The Bursar at U of L will send you a bill for the full amount for the course (about $800 for a 3-hour course). Pay half that amount to U of L. The Bursar will charge UT for the balance.
