UT Binding Services

The University of Tennessee Book & Supply Store's Graduation Counter will bind personal copies of your Thesis or Dissertation for a low price. All binding is hardbound and there are a variety of colors to choose from. This service should not be used to bind the copies submitted to the Thesis/Dissertation Consultant.

After thoroughly proofing your copies, please bring them to the University Center, UT Book & Supply Store Graduation Supply Counter in 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper boxes with lids. You may fit more than one copy in a box, separating each copy with a brightly colored sheet of paper.

The Bindery will print your name on the spine and your title on the front. They will NOT print in italics, nor will they print special characters.

The cost of binding is $11.99 per copy plus tax (total is $13.10 for each copy). If you need pockets, there is an additional charge:
Paper Pockets -- $6.00 plus tax
Cloth Pockets -- $10.00 plus tax
(Please include the material that will go in the pockets so the pockets can be appropriately sized.)

Your copies can be paid for in full, or you may leave a minimum deposit of $5.00 plus tax per copy. They can be shipped to you via UPS if paid in full (NO P.O. BOXES PLEASE!). The cost of shipping is $5.00 for the first copy and $3.00 for each additional copy going to the same address.

If you are mailing us your order, please include payment with a complete shipping address and daytime phone number.

When filling out the form for binding, please print your name under the word SPINE, and if you want your title to appear on the front, please print the entire title under the word FRONT. PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY! The binding and your paperwork will be in two separate parts of the plant and the spelling cannot be checked.
