John A. Clancy Jr. was born on June 23, 1930, and died on May 4, 1999. He had been Vice President of the Knoxville Catholic High School Class of 1950 and a had been a good friend of Cormac McCarthy's. Thomas S. Clancy II was born on June 1, 1932, and died on December 22, 1980. He had been the Vice President of the Class of 1951 at Knoxville Catholic High School, in the same class as Cormac (Charles) McCarthy. Both brothers were members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and are buried in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery.
