Our Location
The University of Tennessee Police Department is located at the corner of Cumberland Avenue and 11th Street on the first floor of the new parking garage.
The only entrance to the building is on the ground level off of Cumberland Avenue. You may park on the second level of the garage while visiting the Police Department.
If parked on level 3-9:
Use the 3rd level exit from the garage onto 11th street. Elevator and stairwell access to Level 1 and 2 are restricted to police department personnel only.
If parked in the 11th street garage:
Walk out of the parking garage onto 11th Street facing downtown/World's Fair Park/SunSphere.Take a right onto 11th street and walk down the hill before Cumberland Avenue.Take another right at the corner and you will see the UT Police Department on your right (look for the big globes marked "Police").Enter thru the double glass doors and someone will be at the window to assist you. There is an intercom mounted under the window to allow you to communicate.
Handicap access to UT Police Department:
Persons needing handicap access to the UT Police Department should park on Level 2 of the garage and use the intercom located next to the blue-light phone in the elevator lobby.
