Ken teaches climatology, global change, remote sensing, GIS and GPS. His interests are in landscape climatology including urban; arid regions; anthropogenic effects on climate including global change; paleoclimatology and biogeography. Ken has worked in southwestern North America, the southern Appalachians, the Caribbean, and Central America.

Specialities: environmental modeling with Geographic Information Systems; landscape climatology; arid regions; global change issues; paleoclimate
